Information Releases
Balance of Payments and International Investment Position - Information Releases - refer to New Zealand's Total Overseas Debt entries.
Note: The 31 March 2000 Overseas Debt statistics released are the last of this series. From 30 June 2000, the overseas debt statistics have been replaced by a new series, New Zealand's International liabilities; borrowing. This series is published each quarter as part of the International Investment Position statistics, in the release Balance of Payments and International Investment Position. The borrowing series is presented in tables 10 to 14 of this release, and includes breakdowns by sector, instrument type, currency and residual maturity. The International Investment Position statement encompasses assets as well as liabilities, and so presents both gross and net international debt.
